Al Hendrickson Toyota....has the following on it’s lot
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! (Best deal in the country)
A poorly spec’d !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
and much more that really doesn’t fit a Toyota store. All these cars were bought through the auction and are arguably aggressively priced....it’s just weird. It’s even weirder since they’re 5 minutes from my new office which happens to be one of the largest pre owned luxury car stores in the area.

Man, Rollers age like an avocado.

Are Land Cruisers popular down there? If so, those all seem like reasonable trades on a new LC...

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve fallen for the old “came for a new Yaris but got upsold to a used Bentley” ploy.
Joke aside I would suspect that the opposite is true, lure people in to look at the expensive used luxury cars and walk away with a Camry or something?

That works but they have a LOT of cash tied up in expensive cars, seems...dumb

I wish the Nissan dealer I worked at would get some interesting cars, we barely have Zs let alone a GTR

Is it a thing where dealership owners/management or whatever get these cars pretty much for personal use? I’m cynical enough to think that’s a thing.

Could it be that the owner loves these cars and uses his business to insure them, etc, while he drives them around and before he sells them?

Think of all the foot traffic to come see these cars? Maybe this is genius?
![]() 01/29/2019 at 14:55 |

Most likely, but some of these sit in the actual dealer (my boss swung by earlier today)

The interior looks like it’s from 2004, not 2015. Yuk.

All that, and only one Rav4 Adventure trim in stock? That too no pics?
Fail!

I
n my mind...their business plan is genius. “
Oh, interested in the R8? But you are about as rich as Homer Simpson? Let’s
discuss the next best thing...a certified pre-owned Toyota!”

Now offering 240 month financing!
Or their used car manager read too many of Tavarish's articles.

What makes the Ferrari California poorly spec’d besides the fact it is white?
![]() 01/29/2019 at 15:51 |

Shit wheels, no scud shields, no carbon steering wheel, no carbon anywhere; the fact it’s white is the only redeeming factor

The inside of the Bentley is beautiful. The outside...not so much.
Rolls is just a BMW parts bin car now, huh? Those switches look cheaper than what’s on a 2 series.
It’s my official opinion that 2012-2014 will be the sweet spot for used luxury cars. Just enough tech to still feel modern, not so much that it’s ALL SCREEN. The SLS is beautiful.

I sense a cunning plan on behalf of this dealer but I can’t for the life of me figure out how it could possibly translate into sound business practice. Therefore, it must be for shi ts and giggles.

You can tell I am not a Ferrari buyer. I like the things that are bad about it and dislike the redeeming factor. White is better than some of the weird shades of blue and brown they have though.

I mean at the end of the day, it’s still a Ferrari right? Just it’s gotta be nice for me to even consider buying it; a “base” Ferrari is death
